1. Join peace corps. That one is not for everyone, but for the people with a sense of venture and a will to make a difference, this is the best option. They send grad volunteers all across the planet to assist in developing countries with different projects comprising HIV/AIDS services, agriculture and education. A 2-year commitment is needed, but perks comporise reduced tuition for graduate school, a financial stipend and work experience.
2. Drive the Wienermobile. Driving that optional big hot dog and gem across the country is a great job — and a worthwhile one at that! The contest is severe for the work of “Hotdogger,” and the perquisite is reflective of why. A competitive salary, advantages as well as networking experience are the start. You can travel free up and down the assigned geographic area.
3. Follow a band. You are not bound down to a career, have no children in tow and you are fresh off the years of having your face stuck to a book. This is the time to have fun. Numerous bands tour the country all year, thus take some time and stroll with the creative minds. Maybe your follower position will become a roadie soon after!
4. Travel differently. It is a relatively general thing for recent alumni to jet-set off to different locations around the planet. Travelers are able to drift from one open couch to anothert, from Slovakia to Peru. Another opportunity is participating in a house swap when people switch cars, houses, or everything for a fixed amount of time.
